Our advanced metallographic laboratory has all necessary equipments to carry out macrostructural tests, microstructural tests, hardness tests and microhardness tests. S.E.M. (Scanning Electron Microscope) has a great importance: it is completed by EDS and relative sputtering equipments, S.E.M. has become an essential instrument in modern metallography.

In order to verify the matallurgical and structural condition of a material, straight on equipments, Metallographic Department (SAM) has developed a long experience in the field of non destructive test by replica using optical and electronic microscope. A test wich is assuming more than ever importance in the evaluation of residual life of plants.
