The European Standards for Quality Management ISO 9001 and UNI EN CEI ISO/IEC 17025 specify where it is necessary to ensure valid results, the measurement equipments have to be calibrated and verified at specified range or before use, referring to international or national samples. Omeco, which operates in a Quality System according to the European Standard UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 is provided with the following resources and competence: - Reference standards periodically calibrated by Institutes of Metrology, SIT Calibration Centres or European recignized Calibration Laboratories - Written calibration procedures - Qualified personnel
Omeco is Center of Calibration ACCREDIA LAT N°090 for accredited calibration of laboratory instruments and machines: - Material testing machines (Compression- Tensile) (da 10 a 3 MN) - Impact testing machine (up to 600 J) - Extensometers testing machines - Hardness testing machines (Rockwell - Brinnel - Vickers) - Torque wrenches and turnscrew (da 2  a 1000 Nm) For further information , see: List of accredited calibrations

Omeco performs calibrations with the issuing of certificate with "reference to SIT primary sample or equivalent" for the following equipments , with a service of "expiration date" according to which the customer is informed a month before to renew the calibration (the frequence of the calibrations is established by the Customer):
